Mozilla Firefox OS, the upcoming mobile operating system,
will come out by the beginning of 2013. Mozilla Co. has taken its
concentration off from desktop to mobiles and now, it is creating a
browser-based operating system for smartphones. The operating system has
got the assistance of several major telecom companies, showing up as a
sturdy rival against Google and Apple in the smartphone market. The
operating system which was formerly termed as “Boot to Gecko” has now
been renamed as Firefox OS and it will be an open mobile ecosystem based
on HTML5. TCL and ZTE, leading device manufacturers, have announced
that they will create phones that will have Firefox OS already and these
Firefox OS powered smartphones will come in Brazil next year and a bit
later in USA. The phones powered by it will be easily affordable and
Firefox OS might be widely adopted.

Mozilla Firefox OS comes out by the start of 2013 and the ease and features linked with it will make it the upcoming mobile operating system.
In the browser market, Mozilla Firefox bruised Internet Explorer
ridiculously but is currently being hammered by the gigantic success of
Chrome. Mozilla Firefox was thrown out from heaps of desktops but now
the company plans to jump to a new podium. To balance up the loss,
Mozilla is coming up against Google with an operating system; just the
platform is different this time. Mozilla has been working on an
operating system for the smartphones for a long time and finally, the
company will unveil it next year. The operating system which was
formerly known as “Boot to Gecko” is now renamed as Firefox OS.
Even
before the launch of the operating system, it has gone global after the
company has collaborated with leading network operators like Deutsche
Telekom, Etisalat, Smart, Sprint, Telecom Italia, Telefonica and Telenor
to support the operating system. So many operators have already
confirmed the collaboration with the company and the deliverance of
intriguing smartphone experiences at affordable prices. That just makes
things even dicier for the current top operating systems for mobiles.
Firefox OS will knockout many present limitations in the web development
on mobile phones. It will be an open mobile ecosystem based on HTML5,
plus new commitments from device manufacturers and carriers to support
the strategy and deliver devices powered by an open Web-based OS.
Mozilla said, “The new operating system will power the launch of
smartphones built entirely to open Web standards, where all of the
device’s capabilities can be developed as HTML5 applications”. Mozilla Firefox OS will bruise Android, Windows Phone and iOS.
Device
manufacturers TCL Communication Technology and ZTE have announced that
they will create the first devices to possess Firefox OS. First Firefox
OS phones will come out in 2013 in Brazil and then a little later in USA
as well. This HTML5-based upcoming mobile operating system
will increase the launch of smartphones built entirely to open Web
standards. Every phone feature, including calling and text messaging, is
a separate HTML application that runs within the browser-based
operating system. This advance technology will make it easier for the
users to be able to have equal web presence and mobile presence in their
phones. In 2013, the unveiling of Mozilla Firefox OS, which is the upcoming mobile operating system, will prove to be beneficial for the company.
